Quickscrews is Born

S&G Specialty found its brand needed to represent its evolving product lines. Quickly expanding into the specialty fastening niche, the company changed its name to Quickscrews International Corporation. A worldly new name for worldly quality and service.

S&G Specialty Founded

Thanks to a Butterball Turkey, Greg Wiener founded S&G Specialty Fasteners in San Mateo, CA in 1987. With the help of his first two employees, Rick Gentry and Stuart Zins, S&G Specialty was on its way. It wasn't easy work, they spent countless hours selling, packing, and delivering goods themselves. The work paid off as Quickscrews remains a leading supplier of specialty woodworking fasteners for cabinetmakers, furniture manufacturers, and professional woodworkers.
