Update Date: 2026-01-01
Issued by: Quickscrews / QuickBOLT (“Manufacturer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
Contact: customerservice@quickscrews.com

1) Definitions

“Product” means QuickBOLT / Quickscrews roof attachments, mounts, fasteners, and related components manufactured and/or sold by Manufacturer.

“Buyer” means the original purchaser of the Product, which may include a distributor, reseller, contractor, installer, or end user. If the original purchaser is a distributor, reseller, contractor, or installer, “Buyer” also includes the property owner at the original installation site.

“System” means the solar electric system (or related building/roof assembly) into which the Product is installed.

“Site” means the original installation location of the Product.

2) Limited Product Warranty (25 Years)

All Products are produced to standard and commercial tolerances.

Manufacturer warrants to Buyer that the Product shall be free from defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of twenty-five (25) years (the “Limited Product Warranty”).

Warranty Start Date

This Limited Product Warranty begins on the date the Product is purchased from Manufacturer or an authorized distributor or reseller, as evidenced by Manufacturer’s sales records or valid proof of purchase.

The warranty period is not dependent on installation date, system commissioning date, or date of first use, and Manufacturer does not warrant or verify installation timing.

3) Warranty Service and Exclusive Remedies

If, within the warranty period, the Product is determined by Manufacturer to be defective (based on reasonable evidence provided by Buyer and/or inspection/testing by Manufacturer), Manufacturer will, at its sole option:

  1. Replace the defective Product with the same Product or an equivalent product; or

  2. Issue a credit in lieu of replacement (at Manufacturer’s discretion).

This is Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Product Warranty.

For clarity: This Limited Product Warranty covers the Product only. It does not include costs associated with removal, reinstallation, labor, inspection, permitting, freight, incidental expenses, or other project costs, except where required by applicable law.

4) Warranty Conditions

This Limited Product Warranty is contingent on proper use, handling, storage, and installation of the Product in accordance with:

  • Manufacturer’s published instructions and specifications, and

  • applicable building codes and industry standards.

This Limited Product Warranty does not apply to any Product that has been repaired, modified, or altered by anyone other than Manufacturer (or Manufacturer’s authorized representative).

5) Exclusions

Without limiting the generality of the conditions above, this Limited Product Warranty does not cover (and Manufacturer is not responsible for) issues arising from:

  • improper installation, failure to follow instructions/specifications, or installation outside design limits;

  • misuse, abuse, negligence, improper maintenance, or improper storage/handling;

  • damage caused by the roof system, structure, or environmental/site conditions beyond the Product’s published ratings;

  • acts of nature (including but not limited to hurricane, tornado, earthquake, fire, flood, lightning, hail, or other extreme weather events);

  • corrosion or chemical exposure beyond what is contemplated by the Product’s published materials/specifications;

  • normal wear and tear;

  • cosmetic conditions that do not materially affect Product function (unless explicitly covered elsewhere in writing by Manufacturer);

  • installation errors of any components (including the Product and/or other system components).

6) Third-Party Components and System Compatibility

The Product is often installed with third-party components (e.g., racking, modules, flashing/roofing materials, sealants, fasteners, or accessories).

  • This Limited Product Warranty covers only the Product. Manufacturer does not warrant the performance, durability, or warranty terms of third-party components.

  • Use of third-party components does not, by itself, void this Limited Product Warranty for the Product.

  • However, this Limited Product Warranty does not apply to Product damage caused by third-party components, system design issues, or installation errors of any components.

7) Buyer Responsibility; No Warranty for Intended Use

Buyer is responsible for testing and verifying the suitability of the Product for Buyer’s intended use.

No warranty for intended use is implied. Buyer assumes all risk and liability related to selection and use of the Product in Buyer’s application, except as expressly stated in this Limited Product Warranty.

8) Disclaimer of Other Warranties

THE EXPRESS LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9) Limitation of Liability; Exclusion of Damages

Manufacturer’s liability is limited to the cost of the defective Product only.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Manufacturer shall not be liable for any loss or damage that may occur from the use or inability to use the Product, and

  • Manufacturer shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, lost revenue, project delays, downtime, or damage to other property.

10) Warranty Transfer

This Limited Product Warranty may be transferred to subsequent owners of the original Site, provided:

  • the Product remains at the original Site, and

  • Buyer (or subsequent owner) provides proof of purchase and/or reasonable documentation of the original installation completion date.

11) Warranty Claims Process

To make a claim under this Limited Product Warranty, Buyer must:

  1. Contact Manufacturer as soon as possible after discovery of the issue, and in no event later than 30 days after the end of the warranty period, at:
